Since its foundation in 1998, Digger has enjoyed the financial support of thousands of private, industrial and institutional donors. This support, which is essential for Digger to carry out its work, bears witness to the confidence and enthusiasm generated by its projects.

Making a donation to the Digger Foundation is to activate a lever that multiplies the effect on the ground. Not only are you financing the clearance of a certain number of square metres of landmines, you are also contributing to multiplying the number of square meters that will be demined in the future!

Your donations will be used to achieve:

• continuous technological evolution, to improve our products and make them even more effective in the field;
• the development of new solutions, to respond to the evolution of demining problems and humanitarian challenges;
• the establishment of a stock of machines and parts in order to respond as quickly as possible to the needs of the field;
• carrying out assessment missions to determine needs and launch new projects;
• maintaining and developing our infrastructure to produce our machines more efficiently and at lower cost.

We are committed to using your donations efficiently and effectively.

The non-profit Digger Foundation is recognised as a non-profit organisation by the Canton Bern. Donations made are tax deductible (within the legal limits) throughout Switzerland.

Its status as a non-profit organisation prohibits the Digger Foundation from appealing directly to investors or shareholders. Its operating capital can only be raised with the help of donors. This policy guarantees the non-profit nature of the Foundation.

A receipt will be sent to you automatically at the beginning of the year, for inclusion in your tax return.

Last wills and testaments
We would like to pay tribute to the growing number of donors who have chosen to entrust the last testament of their generosity to the Digger Foundation. Each time this has happened, we inevitably have to think of the circumstances under which people have made their decision and the considerations that must have been theirs, so we always accept these legacies with solemn respect. As they come to the end of their life’s journey, they wished to give one last helping hand to those who are starting on their own journey in the midst of mortal danger. Thus they entrusted us with the task of carrying out their wishes, and we also wanted to pass on their message.

The Digger Foundation is certified according to ZEWO. This ensures that:

• your donations are used appropriately and efficiently
• the Digger Foundation is managed transparently and effectively
• the organisation’s finances are clear and transparent
• fundraising and management of donations are done ethically and fairly
